Children’s Costume Collection

Artists Liz Ballard and Julia Devonshire have been commissioned to make a collection of children’s costumes based on the display objects at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery and Wisbech & Fenland Museum. Children are invited to assume the guise of display furniture and costume support structures, curate their own collection and experiment with hierarchies of display.
These fantastic and strange pieces of garb are on display in the Arts of Living Gallery on the ground floor of Norwich Castle Museum and in the lower ground floor of Wisbech & Fenland Museum.
Liz Ballard and Julia Devonshire will hold a workshop for children at Wisbech & Fenland Museum on Saturday 7 December 11am – 3pm. All welcome.
